How to Naturally Get Rid of Dark Circles Under the Eyes

Dark circles under the eyes are usually a sign of stress, sleep deprivation, allergies, alcohol consumption or cigarette smoking. Fortunately, there are several all natural remedies to wipe away those dark spots to keep you looking clean and fresh.


Cucumber- Cucumber may be the most well known treatment for dark circles. To up the effects of the cucumber, you can also soak them in lemon juice and then leave over the eyes for 10-15 minutes while listening to some deep zen meditation music, or just your favorite album streaming on youtube, whatever gets you relaxed and feeling stress-free.


Green Tea bags- Green tea is rich in antioxidants and can help fight dark circles under the eyes. Additionally, green tea is packed with caffeine which helps shrink blood vessels and inflammation under the eyes. Steep the tea bags in hot water, then allow them to cool before placing them over the eyes.


Potato-The vitamins and enzymes found in potato brightens the skin under the eyes and clears away the dark skin. Grate the potatoes and use the juice to get rid of the circles. Soak cotton balls in the potato juice and leave over the eyes for 20-30 minutes.


Tomatoes- Similar to potatoes, you can extract tomato juice and cover the eyes with an immersed cotton ball for 15-20 minutes. Adding lemon juice can help accelerate the treatment.
